Meal Delivery Menu for Monday, October 16th, 2017

  • Penne Pasta with Summer Squash Yellow Tomatoes and Herbed Lemon Marinated Chicken

If you've been with us a while, you know how much we love to get saucy! If you're new to Grateful Plate, you're about to find out. This week is particularly loaded with dishes that showcase some of our favorite marinades, glazes, sauces, and toppings that are all made from scratch here in our Manayunk commissary!

One of our true menu staples is our famous Romesco Sauce. This Spanish Style Roasted Red Pepper Sauce is incredibly versatile and for this Monday, it will accompany our delightful Seared Citrus Marinated Chicken Breast. Our pasta entree will be topped with our super fresh Basil Spinach Pesto, and we are introducing a new dish, Chorizo-Spiced Tofu Stuffed Poblano Peppers served with the perfect topping to balance with the chorizo-spice, our heavenly dairy-free Cashew Sour "Cream". For our rotating Salmon entree, we are glazing it up with Ginger Hoisin Balsamic Sauce that is both tangy and a touch sweet. Last and certainly not least, we are thrilled to announce our first public cooking class at our lovely kitchen here in the hills of Manayunk! Our Healthy Holidays Hands-On Class and Tasting is a partnership with Wendy Romig of Sage Integrative Health. Wendy is a functional nutritionist and clinical herbalist with a private practice in Mt. Airy focusing on complex, chronic health conditions. Our Healthy Holiday class will take place on Thursday, November 2nd from 6:30pm to 9:00pm, and is limited to 8 guests. You will have two phenomenal teachers with Chef Beth and Wendy who will have plenty of time and attention for answering questions about cooking, ingredients and the health properties of the dishes being made.   • Eggplant Rollatini with Tofu Ricotta & Cashew Parm
  • Stuffed Delicata Squash with Quinoa, Kale, Cranberries, Chickpeas & Chermoula Sauce
  • Quick Chocolate Peanut Butter Mousse topped with Spiced Nuts
  • Peppermint or Pumpkin Spice Rice Crispy Bites
