Meal Delivery Menu for August 28th, 2017

  • Chickpea Burger Sweet Potato Wedges and Shoshito Peppers

We hope you are enjoying these dog days of summer. It's hard to believe it's nearly Labor Day already! Speaking of the holiday, we will be running on a modified schedule that week. Instead of delivery on Labor Day Monday, we will be delivering on Tuesday, September 5th.

The local produce keeps rolling in and it's been such a wonderful source of inspiration for our team of chefs who craft our menus and meals each week. We've got our hands on some gorgeous organic Shishito Peppers that we are pickling and pairing with our Japanese Style Pulled Pork along with Garlic Sesame Scallion Red Potato Wedges. If you're looking for flavor, look no further! This dish has a little bit of everything and while most Shishitos are mild, there's always a sneaky one that packs a punch. Fear not, they will be packaged on the side! 

With local Corn still going strong, we're excited to bring back a newer fan favorite, Seared Cumin Chicken Breast over Red Quinoa and topped with Elote, which is our take on off-the-cob Mexican Street Corn. This topping is a great combination of fresh and rich flavors which provide a delightful contrast to the cumin seasoning of the chicken breast.

Switching gears a bit, we are very excited to offer our first ever Seared Flank Steak Salad with Arugula, Grilled Scallion, Green Beans, Yellow Bell Peppers and Sundried Tomato Red Wine Vinaigrette (on the side). Our beef for the salad, like most of our meats, comes from the incredible folks over at Primal Supply Meats. We've worked with their butchers to get the best cut of steak to be prepared medium-rare and enjoyed cold over a fresh, loaded green salad. This is the perfect option for an easy lunch that will get you energized and ready to take on the afternoon, or a lighter dinner that will leave you full and satisfied! 

Last and certainly not least, we have the triumphant return of our Chocolate Coconut Sea Salt Chia Pudding. We have received a ton of positive feedback and requests for more, so here's your chance to treat yourself to a healthy, protein packed breakfast, a perfect mid-afternoon snack, or a guilt-free dessert you can feel good about eating! We promise, we won't make you wait too long for it to come back around.
