Meal Delivery Menu for August 21st, 2017
If you've been part of the Grateful Plate Tribe for a while now, you know that we love to mix things up and draw inspiration for our menus from cuisines from around the world. If you are new to Grateful Plate, next week's menu is loaded with variety and interesting flavors, and this is the perfect week to see how we roll!
For those of you who love Asian cuisines, we have two delightful, and very different options for you. Our Thai Red Coconut Curry is one of our "pick your protein" options this week. Our curry is loaded with veggies (Carrots, Green Beans and Red Bell Peppers), plus your choice of Chicken or Tofu. Heading a little east, we are dishing up Vietnamese Shrimp with Snow Peas, Peach Relish and Red Quinoa. The flavor profile of this dish is slightly sweet and a touch of spice. The sweetness comes from coconut sugar and of course, fresh and local peaches from Three Springs Fruit Farm. Also included in this dish are Fish Sauce, Lime Juice, Garlic, Cilantro and Serrano Peppers, which gives this dish a 5 out of 10 spice level. This is a new entree for us, and we hope you love it!
For a little North African flare, we are offering a best seller, a true fan favorite, our Braised Moroccan Lamb with Chickpeas and Dried Apricots over Bulgur. This dish is so flavorful and hearty, that many folks will get multiple meals out of one portion. Another Grateful Plate staple and beloved dish making an appearance next week is our Eggplant Rollatini with Tofu Ricotta served over Farro with Sautéed Greens. Whether you're dairy free or not, we promise, our Tofu Ricotta will not disappoint.
A few quick items worth mentioning because they are just that darn good... The Zucchini and Corn Fritters that comes with our White Bean Chili are out of this world. If you want to order extra, you can do so under the "Side of Grains" item on the menu. They come 2 fritters per order, and are great to have as a snack or to accompany another meal. We're also very excited to bring back our Vanilla Coconut Chia Pudding with Caramelized Peach Jam. This Chia Pudding received such rave reviews, we're bringing it back. Fear not Chocolate lovers, you'll see that version of the Chia Pudding back on the menu real soon!
