We hope that you had a fun, relaxing and delicious 4th of July! While we missed cooking for you this Monday, we took the days off to recharge our batteries and gear up for what is sure to be an amazing 2nd half of 2017. We've also been hard at work on a project that we are super excited to unveil very soon. Spoiler alert... in the next couple of weeks, ordering by email will be a thing of the past, as we will be moving to an online ordering system that will help make placing orders easier for both you and our team. Stay tuned for more details in the coming days and weeks!

Looking ahead to our first menu of July, we cannot wait to get back into the kitchen and craft some flavorful, nourishing meals! Now that summer is in full swing, we have a plethora of fresh, local veggies to choose from. Some items are here for the whole season, while others will be around for a very limited time. One such ingredient is Garlic Scapes, which are the long, skinny, green and squiggly tops of garlic. They taste like garlic, but much more mild. This week we are adding them to Quinoa along with Sun Dried Tomato to accompany our scrumptious Sunflower Seed Crusted Tofu with Herb Tahini Dipping Sauce! Keep your eyes peeled for more Garlic Scapes on the menu in the coming weeks! In addition to the Garlic Scapes, we're also featuring locally and sustainably grown Tomatoes, Green Beans, Yellow and Green Squash, Broccoli, Collard Greens and Swiss Chard. We are so grateful for our local farmers and purveyors!

Next week's menu also includes a fresh new Meatloaf preparation, Chipotle, and Apple Turkey Meatloaf topped with Caramelized Onions and our Herb Aioli over Spiced Sweet Potatoes, which is sure to become a new fan favorite! Our Aioli is served on the side and is made in-house using organic mayo, lemon and a whole bunch of fresh herbs. Speaking of house-made sauces, we think you will love our Korean BBQ Sauce, used for our Glazed Chicken Breast with Scallion Ginger Relish, which makes for a deliciously fresh and flavorful combo perfect for the summer time.
