Can you believe we're already approaching mid-May? We are knee-deep in local asparagus and strawberry season is so close we can taste it! As we inch towards Memorial Day, more local vegetables are becoming available. Keep an eye out for fresh, local Swiss chard, bok choy and kale, which we are super stoked to incorporate into our menus!

Next week we've got some tried-and-true favorites that are sure to knock your socks off. For the meat lovers, we've got you covered with Classic Beef Meatloaf with Chef Sara's Awesome Sauce, which comes complete with Mashed Potatoes and a side of Sautéed Red Cabbage and Apples. We are whipping our potatoes up with organic dairy from grass-fed, pasture-raised, local cows, and are happy to make your order dairy-free upon request. Just let us know! We've also got our Seared Citrus Marinated Chicken OR Tofu with Local Asparagus and our house-made Romesco Sauce. If you are new to Grateful Plate, now is your chance to enjoy our legendary Romesco Sauce, which is made with roasted fresh peppers, tomatoes, toasted pumpkin seeds, paprika, and a whole lotta love. 

We are bringing back an oldie but a goodie, our Lentil Walnut Quinoa Taco Bowl with Veggies and Cashew Sour "Cream". This dish is 100% vegan and 1000% delicious. Just ask Chef Jen- whenever we make our Cashew Sour "Cream", she kindly "offers" to take any leftovers off our hands! We're also bringing back Fusilli a la Vodka Sauce, served with Zucchini, Peas and our gluten-free, organic brown rice pasta. This sauce is made from scratch in our kitchen and contains organic cream and parmesan cheese, just like Nonna used to make! Last but certainly not least, next week's Vegetable Miso Soup will be the last soup of the season until autumn, so order extra, freeze it and enjoy throughout the summer.
